Area of Expertise

I have recently worked with a specialist conservation/heritage architect on the preparation of conservation management plans for two heritage sites for submission to the NSW Heritage Office for endorsement. One site is in the Hunter Valley of NSW and the other is in western Sydney. Both were significant sites of assignment of convicts. My role was to write the thematic histories for one of the sites and to prepare detailed history notes and compile photos and references for every structure on both sites.

My ongoing interest is further research in convict and early Australian colonial history.
