Register of Historic Places and Objects (ROHPO) The PHA (NSW) Heritage RegisterThe Register of Historic Places and Objects (ROHPO) is an inventory of heritage places and objects in NSW and ACT identified by PHA (NSW) members and showcases their work. It aims to illustrate aspects of historical significance in heritage and to increase understanding of historical significance. PHA (NSW) members wishing to contribute to the Register should contact PHA Publications. The Register is part of NSW Heritage Office's State Heritage Inventory and entries for the Register need to be submitted electronically in the State Heritage Inventory format - NSW Heritage Office. Images can also be included with entries if submitted electronically. Please read the Criteria and Guidelines for more information. ROHPO ReviewAt the 2006 PHA (NSW) Annual General Meeting a working party was appointed to review the ROHPO. The Working Party will review the form, name and presentation of the ROHPO, and revitalise, promote, steer and 'gate-keep' it. One of the first tasks will be to put in place a procedure for adding new items to the register. The proceedings of the Working Party will be reported regularly at PHA meetings and in Phanfare. Members' views on the ROHPO are valued by the Working Party so please send any comments to the President PHA (NSW). Register Entries
