PHA (NSW) library
Our library is housed at the Royal Australian Historical Society and holds and collects material of professional interest to members, including:
- Copies of PHA NSW publications
- Interstate PHA newsletters
- Many other periodicals relating to history, the arts, archives and libraries
- professional monographs and government reports
Suggestions for acquisitions and subscriptions are welcome. A summary of acquisitions is regularly published in Phanfare.
Collection at the Mitchell Library
A collection of members' unpublished commissioned work is shelved in the Mitchell Reading Room on public access. This aims to increase recognition and awareness of members' work which is commissioned but not published.
Only unpublished commissioned work should be submitted and should be properly bound with space for an A5-sized bookplate near the front. For further information contact the PHA Mitchell Collection Co-ordinator.
