Membership

Membership of PHA NSW is based on a National Accreditation Standard prepared by the Australian Council of Professional Historians Associations (ACPHA).

Applications - Read PHA (NSW) Constitution and complete the application form and submit by email or print out text version and send it to:

Note that the requested supporting information will need to be mailed to the Association as well. Membership fees should not be paid until the Association has notified you of its decision.

Membership is renewable annually on 1 July. Annual fees are:

• $150 for Professional Historian MPHA
• $90 for Professional Historian (Associate) APHA
• $65 Graduate Historian

A membership renewal form (Word document) is also available for current members. Please direct further membership enquiries to the Secretary. If you feel you are not sufficiently qualified for membership History as a Career may assist you.
