Kate is a historian and lecturer based in the Blue Mountains.  She has conducted research on governesses in nineteenth century Australia, and is currently researching nineteenth century NSW politicians with a particular focus on John Lucas and his contemporaries and a history of the site currently occupied by the RAAF Base at Glenbrook.
