I've just attended the memorial service (outside the Town Hall) and heard a number of moving and thoughtful tributes to Gough. While yours won't reach such a wide audience, Guy, it's right up there with the best of them. It's great to see a young historian who did not live through those inspiring and tumultuous years pay this tribute to a man of vision.
