Michael Lever is a professional historian with over 11 years experience in the fields of heritage, historical and archaeological research. He currently works at Artefact Heritage Services Pyrmont, developing reports and heritage management policies for state and local government agencies in addition to a wide range of research and reporting for private clients. In seeking to straddle several disciplinary divides, Michael is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney with a thesis that adopts biographical approaches to the history of archaeology in Australia.
