Dr Martina Muller is a freelance professional historian who has worked in Sydney’s heritage sector for over a decade, both as a heritage consultant and historian. She carries out independent historical research in the fields of heritage, archaeology and interpretation, and is an expert in accessing and evaluating all relevant records and sources, including those related to the architectural, social and local history of a place. Martina’s research has informed heritage reports such as Conservation Management Plans, Heritage Assessments, Statements of Heritage Impact and Heritage Reviews, as well as archaeological reports and interpretive media. She has worked on places ranging from small scale residential buildings to complex commercial properties, government sites and public spaces.
