Biography
Caitlyn Dunn is currently completing a Master of Research with a thesis titled ‘Displays of Womanhood: An Examination of Female Social Status, Roles, and Individuality in Three Cemeteries from Early Medieval England’. She has tertiary qualifications in museum and heritage studies, secondary education, and achieved a First Class Honours in her Bachelor of Ancient History. Her Honours thesis investigated the purpose of weapon burials in early medieval England and France. Caitlyn has experience as a secondary history teacher and as a tour guide for school and public groups within Sydney’s museum and heritage sector. Her website features articles about Australian museums and historic buildings, vintage objects, book reviews, and academic research and writing. She is open to inquiries about freelance historical research and writing projects.
